Our Story
My name is Ranjana Hans founder of Raw Roots Turmeric. I have a passion about medicinal herbs. Before starting a business, I have been using and growing Ayurvedic herbs for my personal uses. My first uses and education about the health benefits of Ayurvedic herbs started in my early childhood growing up in India.
I moved to United States in 2003.
Along with adjusting to a new culture, I began reading about medicinal herbs and their health benefits. I have been growing Turmeric, Ashwagandha, Tulsi and variety of medicinal herbs in my garden and using them to make different products. Using these herbs in a raw form are an effective way to feel the differences.
It was a life changing experience for me when I was fully recovered from the leg pain and experienced the full energy in my body. Then I decided to share daily uses of these herbs and experience with other people.
After doing different experiments and learning more about theses herbs and the best way to use them I have created variety of delicious, Nutritious and fresh products by using fresh leaves and roots. These products are ready to mix in the water, tea, coffee, smoothies, etc. I grow theses herbs in Columbia MO.
My morning ritual is to drink turmeric tonic before drinking a cup of tea. A very little change in daily life can have a huge impact on our health.
